Hello! Thanks for taking a moment to visit our site! We hope you will take a moment to look around and see what God is doing… and even how you can be a part of it! But first, let us tell you a little about ourselves…
We are a part of “Youth With A Mission” (YWAM, for short), which is an international Christian missions organization. It is one of the largest mission groups in the world, serving in over 1000 locations in over 180 countries, with a staff of over 18,000 people. YWAM has a decentralized structure that encourages new vision and the exploration of new ways to change lives through training, convey the message of the gospel, and care for those in need. We love being a part of this network of missionaries that has encouraged us and provided opportunities for us to walk out the calling that God has placed on our lives. Since 2007, Tim was based out of Paisley, Scotland, with the long-term hope of moving to Romania. In 2009, we met and were married in 2010. We then returned to Scotland to finish out the season that God had called us there for. Our days in Scotland were spent teaching, discipling and encouraging other Christians along with befriending people in need of hope, love and help- but mostly they are in need of God. There are so many in Scotland, young and old, in desperate need of having their eyes and hearts opened to the truth of God and his saving grace through Christ. The people of Scotland hold a special place in our hearts, but we are excited to say that God has opened many doors for us to move forward towards our long-term desire to live and work in Romania!
God has asked us to go into places that are in need of truth and hope, and live out a life of love in them. We want to be a means for God to share his love, and reach out to those in need through us. As we make our move to Romania, our hope is to continue working with an established children’s home, helping to care for kids through meeting their practical, emotional, and spiritual needs. We also enjoy getting “back to the basics,” and have been pursuing experience in farming, sewing, carpentry, etc. in order to help meet the needs of the children that God brings our way. We plan to have a small farm and eventually open up our home to as many children as possible, providing for them a loving, stable, family environment.
